Kelly Zenn, (she/her) , BA
About Me
Growing up as a neurodivergent queer kid in the south, I have firsthand experience of the delicate work of claiming joy amidst survival. These days, I seek grounding in the woods, waters, and wildlife of the PNW and find the connection to self and community through friends, chickens, climbing, and birdwatching.
Counseling Approach
First & foremost, I am client-centered, believing each person is the expert of their own life. I am also passionate about liberation in all forms, particularly mad liberation, and hold client empowerment as central to the healing process. My approach is trauma-informed, focusing on client strengths and mind-body awareness. I would be honored for an invitation to walk with you on your journey, offering compassion, empathy, and collaboration.
Methods/Modalities I pull from: Strength Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Grief Counseling
Kelly is currently taking new clients via telehealth sessions and in person with evening and weekend availability. They are currently being supervised by Lora Weed.
