Ash O’Brien, BA
About Me
I am an introvert, artist, and animal lover. I enjoy gardening, rockhounding, getting into good trouble, and spending time with people I love including my spouse and our teenager. I value interdependence, balance, compassion, and gratitude. I am committed to life-long learning, accountability, and dismantling systems of oppression impacting BIPOC and LGBTQIAP+ people.
Counseling Approach
I believe transformation, growth, and healing is possible for everyone. My role as a counselor is to support you in becoming the most authentic version of yourself by addressing and removing challenges that stand in your way. I provide trauma-informed counseling that is strength-based and solution focused to help you achieve your goals. I have more than 13 years of experience in the mental health field supporting youth and young adult clients, particularly those who identify as LGBTQIAP+. Counseling is my heart work, and I look forward to showing up for you with intention, care, and creativity.
